Each Savvy Kids Conference provides a unique opportunity to participate in a functioning Conference Board of Directors.  In addition to directing and shaping conference activities, class members interact with local organizations for a 'behind the scenes' look into their operations.  Class members practice leadership through conference presentations, introducing fun sessions, and directly participating in the planning and logistics of the conference.       Program Goals:

Improve the Conference for Kids

• Become the 'voice' for kids your age and improve the conference experience for everyone
• Review & approve kid-focused presentations and activities
• Interview and introduce “Kids Like Me” presenters

Get 'Immersed' in the Community

• Get introduced to Savvy Kids Core Pillars and their relationship to you and your community
• Onsite, 'behind the scenes' interactions with local business and conference exhibitors

Learn and Practice Leadership and Team-Building

• Understand Board of Directors roles and responsibilities
• Learn and practice communication & presentation skills
• Learn to plan, execute and achieve goals as a team

Requirements for Participation:

• Open to 4th-8th grade students. Only 15 spots available!
• 12-13 week duration; once a week meeting; various locations
• Parent and Student participation agreements are required
• $295 per student
